Yes. Even travelers from a K-ETA required country taking a direct flight/vessel to Jeju Island from overseas need to apply for a K-ETA and get it approved before boarding the flight/vessel.

No. The operating flight crews and seafarers entering the Republic of Korea do not need to get a K-ETA if they are on duty.

No. Valid Residence Card holders do not need to get a K-ETA.

No. Valid Korean visa holders do not need to get a K-ETA.

You need to update the e-Arrival Card in case the purpose of your entry or the address/contact info in Korea has changed. Please go to [Update Travel Information] under the [Application Results] tab of the K-ETA official website or mobile K-ETA application to update the information.

Note that K-ETA Center will not be responsible for any disadvantages that may happen in failure to do so.

You are required to apply for a new K-ETA if there is any change to your information such as nationality, name, sex, date of birth, passport number, passport expiration date, infectious disease, or criminal record even though the approved K-ETA is still valid.

The validity period of a K-ETA is 3 years (or 2 years if application was submitted before July 3, 2023) from the date of approval. However, if the passport used for the K-ETA application expires in less than 3 years (or 2 years if it was submitted before July 3, 2023), the K-ETA approval will be valid until the passport expiration date.

You can use international debit cards or global credit cards such as VISA, Master, JCB, AMEX, UnionPay, Diners Club, Discover or Alipay+.

The K-ETA application fee is 10,000 KRW (3% of the card processing fee is not included) and the K-ETA application fee is non-refundable once payment is made, regardless of the application result.

The applicant can check the result within 72 hours after submitting the K-ETA application by accessing the K-ETA official website (or mobile app), and clicking [K-ETA Application Results].

However, it can take more than 72 hours due to an unexpected increase of applications, the circumstances of the applicants, etc.
